Nothing for the Beaker People ever again offered the hope they all felt on that night in those brief hours before Yavo struck and killed the grey being. No life event of a Beaker person ever matched the joy and wonder and hope for their futures they had all experienced; not the birth of a child; not the wedding of a daughter; not even the joy of being in love. They were 8,000 depressed farmers, hunters, women and children, and they roamed Britain a broken people, a different kind of people than before those miserable years of the silver bird. They were bitter and became quick to violence. They had a pent-up secret they could not share; a secret that ate through their psyches and diminished the importance of their seemingly insignificant lives; a secret that came-out of their minds' eyes as nightmares and daymares haunted them; a secret of an innocent and kind small people they would never know, their grey heads cracked open like dropped melons, an image shared even by those who did not directly see the crime, an image they could not forget.
To avoid insanity, and as a means of resting temporarily from their greatest fear, a large silver predator from above them, they built many henges of their own throughout the large island, to tunnel underneath and huddle with their families in a small cavern lined with furs.
Their chronic depression meant that disease found their physically and emotionally weary bodies easy to infect, easy to kill. Afraid of disease, tribes broke-up into dozens and later hundreds of wandering families who were always unhappy with their new surroundings, always feeling insecure, always moving on. Their small bands traveled far and away from the beautiful pastoral region now known as the Salisbury Plaines.
Today twelve species from this galaxy and their various ships and drones come and go to Earth, mostly they scan and mine our deep gold unhindered by our primitive technology. But every single pilot on his or her first visit to Earth wants to begin their visit properly and respectfully by visiting Stonehenge, a place in galactic history they had heard about all of their lives. They first tune-in on approach to Earth to Stonehenge's repeating macabre radio message. Above central England's seemingly perpetual cloud cover visitors of each species float above human civilization unseen by human eyes or radar, where they scan below the twelve meters of dirt and rock, and through the hull of the ship, to see on their view screens the dust on the floor of the airlock that eons past had been the thin and fragile bones of the bodies of the ship's engineer and of three very brave and optimistic anthropologists whose eagerness to be recognized for scientific greatness lead them to delusion, and tragically, to blind carelessness.
From deep underneath the structure whose combined stones weigh tens of thousands of tons, and from underneath over twelve meters of soil and rock weighing over 150,000 tons, an electro-magnetic beacon continues to broadcast today, now reaching 4,500 light years from our world. In our region of this galaxy the story of the origin of the message is found in many stories and songs in twelve systems. The message's important lesson is ingrained from childhood for all who might travel local space.
The beacon is interpreted by all communicating species as a clear warning from the direction of planet Earth: "Do not land here - and if you must do not get out."

It is clear that most of the so called crop circles have been creations of people. However many are not. Many are an ancient practice of messaging. It is an ever changing abstract code shared by several civilizations and so these messages made by others are not in the distinct language of the visitors who made this message. It can be interpreted with slight variations and usually with one or more errors in that interpretation because of cultural change as new characters in this graffiti occur with rapidity and changes in style and rules of what can and cannot be stated in these left behind messages. We would call this hieroglyphic. It is vague but contains the essential story of the what the crew's captain thought was relevant. If straight lines are used, those are details. This is a broad and abstract and vague story of one journey. The outer symbols are of the planned journey home and do not indicate what actually happened on that return.
