Everything we Americans do – do that’s...It’s true! Everything we Americans do – do that’s decent anyway – is liberal. From our creation of public schools to our public fire departments, libraries, roads and etc., all liberal ideas that are all liberally maintained by liberal people. In fact every person asked whether or not they want to keep those things, will answer definitely yes. We are liberals. Founded by liberals, like Thomas Jefferson, or like George Washington who once said: <br><br>"As Mankind becomes more liberal, they will be more apt to allow that all those who conduct themselves as worthy members of the community are equally entitled to the protections of civil government. I hope ever to see America among the foremost nations of justice and liberality.” <br><br>We are a whole damn country of liberals! Even those who would decry the work and passions of a political liberal still want to partake in what liberalism gives them!James G.
